Voltron help?
I want to buy a die cast Voltron for my husband for his birthday since he always talks about the die cast Voltron that he used to own, and about how much he misses it. The only problem is, there are a bunch of different versions of Voltron out there. Can anybody please help me identify which is the correct Voltron? I know I could ask my husband, but I don’t want to ruin the surprise. He was born in 1975, so the correct version should have been released sometime in the early 1980s. I think it might be Voltron I or III by Matchbox, but am not sure. All I know is that it was die cast. Help please! Thank you!
chances are he’s not talking about the voltron with the cars.. that one was pretty rare.. he’s probably talking about the original voltron with the lions.. there are five lions (the black one is a lot bigger than the others).. some of the voltrons were made of plastic and others were made with metal.. the metal ones were more expensive, but a lot nicer quality..
